Arete: b. colt, Atlas - Wild Country (Unbridled)
I took a flyer. We'll see! His name is Greek for "excellence"

Marvel: b. filly, Johar - Wonder Again (Silver Hawk)
Couldn't decide where to send the mare, so I sent her to one of mine! Love this gal.

So Screwed: b. colt, Chesapeake Bay - Oftearsandfighting (Fighting With Wit)
MUCH love for Chessie. Ryen Hanna'll appreciate this name.

Subtle: gr. colt, Dalakhani - Sly Fly (Lucifer)
She's got a useful type by another son of Darshaan and it's hard not to like what Dalakhani's siring so far.

Onlytimewilltell: dkb. filly, Sinndar x Magical Romance (Barathea)
Well her names kind of based on Magical Romances first foal who was born prematurly, she is the first foal from Magical Romance on the SIM.

This mare frustrates me more than a little, so I took a little stab.

And I love you for it! Thanks for breeding to him :)

Tonight's addition, a special boy here at our farm:

Culmination, colt (End Result - Cairo, by Sports Jersey)
His dam won the Vanity Handicap and was multiple stakes placed on both dirt and turf. She is a daughter of Champagne, one of the famous Rain Dancer daughters and incidentally a full sister to Mother Goose winner Cascade, granddam of Jet-Ski. Another of Champagne's sisters, Chute, produced the good filly TRAP (cue Eric...whoops, he's away right now, isn't he?) when bred to End Result. In addition, this replicates the Rain Dancer x Glorious Song cross that produced Atlas, Map, Chart, and Choral, albeit a bit distantly. :) I think his name is awesome and I love him a lot!
You're not getting a dead button...in fits of rage, John Slotman and Ara Davies and Jolene Danner would literally kill half their barns.

Bred some of my new retirees today. YAY for having enough money for this week, now it's up to me to see if I can keep writing those articles and make enough for next week's retirees!

Angel With No Halo, gray filly (Aragorn-Thunder's Dance [Notable Dancer])
Kind of a stab in the dark here, but hopefully it'll work. I don't think Aragorn has any SIM foals yet, but I really like him as a prospect, so we'll see. (I also REALLY want to send someone to Discreet Cat, but have no idea who)

Cheater, dark bay filly (Villain-With Someone [Malabar Gold])
I love this name. WHY hasn't anyone taken it yet??

Crystal Cascade, gray colt (Symboli Kris S-Flare Cascade [El Condor Pasa])
Planned this one awhile ago

Even Money, bay colt (Mystery Storm-A Sure Bet [Stravinsky])
Should have waited on this one, but didn't think before I went click-happy. I usually wait until the last day to breed to my own stallions... Ah well, at least I know I got the name!

Lightningbolt, chestnut colt (Lightninginabottle-Sonsierra [Saint Ballado])
Hoping he's fast!

Mercenary, dark bay colt (Midnightconfession-Song of the Hawk [Unbridled's Song])
Bred this one a few days ago but never announced it.

Morning Awaits, chestnut colt (A Crown Awaits-Dewloch [Tulloch])
VERY pretty!

Thrill Seeker, chestnut filly (Johar-Catch The Thrill [A.P. Indy])
LOVE this one's name, SO glad I could get it!

Uitra, chestnut filly (Zinfandel-Brabata [Five Circles])
ha...ha...ha... I misstyped this one's name. Was supposed to be Ultra. But I actually like the funniness of my screwup, so she's going to stay Uitra!

Crazy Canuck's has another birth to announce

In A Tizzy a 15 hand tall Black Colt (Tiznow - Sweet Water Star by Really a Star)

for some reason if I ever did in real life breed a mare to Tiznow I wanted to name the foal this name

Got one more before my last few retire...

Furies - gr.f. - Em's Always Busy x Electra (Satelite)
Electra was the daughter of Agamemnon and her brother was Orestes. He went mad and was hounded by the Furies, who happen to be my favorite mythological characters.

Super special one bred on Christmas morning...

Zarzuela
Bago x Orange Peel, by Sunday Silence
This filly is a half sister to the amazing Black Condor. She is also inbred to Raise A Native, just like her brother. Should be one hot filly.

My final 2, both with appropriately Christmas-y names.

Perfect Christmas - w. filly, Stay Gold x Grand Entrance (Greatest Triumph)

Thehollyandtheivy - gr. filly, Trenton My Boy x Speeding Memo (Memo)

Now...to wait and see if they can run. :)
