I got to race my first mixed breeds today and I was very pleased! I only have Arabs and they all turned 3 this year lol. :)

My favorite colt, Moniet, won the Golden Desert Stakes by a nose after falling to his knees at the start. He showed he had so much heart! Got a 74 speed figure so he's definitely got a lot of potential. His name means Wish. I've adored him since I bought him. I just had a feeling about him. ^.^ I'm going to get him a headshot I think lol.

My fave filly, Tawil, got 2ND in her first start against a monster lol. Her name means Tall.

Ma Ajmala placed 4TH in the California Desert Stakes, against some lovely fillies. I'm thinking stakes company is a bit too high for her right now and will try smaller races in the future. But she does have potential.

The last one, Jahmal, finished 5TH. I think he'll improve with distance though.

So I'm very pleased with my buys. I still have four more left to start, three of them waiting for the endurance races. :D

Just one horse made it through my culling process, LOL!

Sky High Indian did pretty good and got beat by some amazing horses so I'm not feeling too bad even though I am disappointed. He gets blinkers next start so maybe he'll win.

Strawfly starts next week if she vets well so I'm ready for next wednesday.

Seven starters, six in MSW.

Two wins, two thirds.

The one non-maiden is a QH colt I picked up for 1000 bucks that was one-for-one. Despite a twelve-week layoff, he kept his undefeated streak alive by taking a 550-yd NW3 by seven and a half lengths. Yowza!

Very nice week...

Prancin Snow won very decisively going 10F tonight. He could potentially be a good arabian stallion winning now at 6F and 10F -- we just need to get a few stakes victories. :)

Other very good ones... WINEBERG ... the filly CLOBBERED her competition hard core to score another win. She was 10 lengths ahead at the first call. She went on to win by nearly 13 lengths with ears pricked! ;) She is now 4:3-1-0 at 650-yards, her lone lose came by the shortest of margins to a freakishly fast Thebuckstopshere. http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=83527

Djin also kicked off the season as pure awesomeness!! Bringing home a stakes win and remaining undefeated at 870-yards. I think a date with Dbacks is in her future! :)

Live For Sun fell to her knees and still managed to get up and win her race.

I had two in races yesterday. Didn't do great. My paint, Water Colors, http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=83069 finished 3 out of a field of 4. My first finish on the board though. My other entry for yesterday, my standardbred pacer, My Little Yoyohttp://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=85048 finished 7 out of 8.

Rawhide got up for second in a crazy close finish of the top four horses.

Carousel Waltz was 9th, but I expect her to do better at long races.
