Jack, congrats on Pace On's G1 victory!! He is no longer the bridesmaid!! Such a consistent colt! It looks like Tough Decision gets to play 2nd fiddle to Pace On this year now that Igetmoney and Writethisdown are retired.

I had six starters, two seconds, a third, a fourth, a sixth and an eighth.

Arkham was second by a head, and earned the same speed figure as the winner.
Batmobile finished fourth of four, but with a speed figure of 51, and only one and a quarter lengths behind the winner.
Boojum finished eighth of eight, and has been tried and found wanting at all distances (he's a gelding).
Houyhnhnm was second by a nose, and earned the same speed figure as the winner.
Robber finished sixth, and has also been tried at all distances (filly).
Way was third of four, and will return to 6f for his next race.

Terra Pericolosa runs again next week, back at her preferred distance of 300-yards (the lack of Stakes at this length is seriously distressing)!

:D  I acquired myself a 3yr old QH last week for the awesome price of $0.00 from one Mr Bryan Doolittle. He had it entered in a 330yrd race and at the track already, so despite being told it may prefer further, I made a couple of gear adjustments trying to fix what I thought was a gate issue and let it run it's race. In a small field of four it came from behind and scored by a 1/4L, giving me both my first mixed breed win and first win for the season.
Unfortunately the gate issue is still there.. :?
