Optimus Prime will be retiring at the end of the season for all your 870 yard mares! His fee will probably be 20,000.
Thanks everyone!

Re: QH Stallion Roster + Broodmare CAH sires
Little Feller has been retired after tonights disappointing showing. His 4yo season was not the best, however, he was very hot at age 3. Consider him for your sprinting mares.
Landon Alexander wrote:I added Stake Winning 4yo Little Feller to the list -- He will be retiring at the end of this season. The black colt has shown good versatility in a very tuff division.... His highlights include:
2yo (Year 23):
2nd: 220-yd, NW2, (behind rival Four Four Forty Q & beating rival Fire Fire)
3rd: 350-yd, $75K Stk, (behind rivals Fire Fire & Four Four Forty Q)
3yo (Year 24):
1st: 220-yd, MSW, in 12.02 seconds
2nd: 220-yd, Alw, (behind rival Fire Fire)
1st: 300-yd, Alw, in 16.02 seconds (beating Dashing Cowboy)
1st: 300-yd, Alw, in 15.95 seconds (beating Wave Wave)
1st: 300-yd, $50K Stk, in 15.98 seconds (beating Fire Fire, Four Four Forty Q, & Wave Wave)
2nd: 300-yd, $50K Stk (behind Dashing Cowboy & beating Four Four Forty Q, Ghostfreak, & Kruytbosch)
Mary Weather gave her seal of approval:
"'Little Feller' galloped around the track as if he had wings! A very fluid and easy gallop, he caught the eye of all the other trainers!"
He worked:
100-yd: 6.31 seconds
300-yd: 16.01 seconds

Ghostfreak is now standing in California for 8K. He was a stakes winner at 220 +300 yds.
Overall record- 15: 7-2-1
At 220-300 yds- 9: 6-1-0
I was a little slow to figure him out!

Re: QH Stallion Roster + Broodmare CAH sires
I retired 5yo cremello Smug Cat to stallion duty tonight. Standing for $2,000 in California. A cheap, yet still talented, alternative to Goldmine for the 400yd to 650yd mares.
Lifetime Record: 16:2-6-5 (that's 13 ITM finishes against the top competition... Many of his loses were by the smallest of margins including tonight's loss by a head.)
He was a lazy morning worker, but a very sturdy horse, not caring what the weather threw at him.
He looks like he may have been a precocious runner if he'd had the right distances & equipment from the get-go.
2yo:
Unraced
3yo: .... (5:2-1-1) -- throw out the too short 350yd (10th) & too long 870yd (3rd) races & he was 3:2-1-0 as a 3yo.
1st - 400yd - maiden, 70sp
1st - 400yd - alw, 70sp
2nd - 400yd - alw, 70sp (behind winner Goldmine)
4yo: .... (6:0-2-2)
2nd - 400yd - alw
2nd - 400yd - alw
3rd - 400yd - Fulfillment S. (behind BB Zoom & Did I Win)
3rd - 550yd - One Step Closer S. (behind Mr Cellophane), 70sp
4th - 650yd - Championship Trial S. (behind Jack And Coke & Did I Win), 70sp
5yo: ... (5:0-3-2) ... an equipment change perked the colt up at the beginning of the year, but I still wonder if only I'd fiddle with a couple other pieces of equipment...
2nd - 650yd - Follow Your Destiny S., 73sp
2nd - 550yd - alw, 73sp
2nd - 650yd - alw
3rd - 400yd - The Tomato S.
3rd - 550yd - According To S.
