The old man has died. :( He was one of my favorites besides Danzig. At least I met Danny before he died.

I remember watching the Derby - one of the most thrilling and to be beaten by a horse trained by your son in his first major race?! How gutting would that be?

Neither horse really got the regonition they deserved.

Also noted that INDIAN RIDGE passed away at the Irish National Stud this week. He has left a long and strong dynasty.
