Did I Win Now At Stud, and other QH Stallion Updates.

Post by Abe Froman »

Did I Win has now been retired, and is standing stud at Enchantment Stables in New Mexico, joining Dbacks in my QH stallion roster.

Did I Win finished his career with a record of 9: 4-2-1 with 3 stakes wins, winning at 400, 550 and 650 yards. He should service a wide range of mares with this versatility while racing. He earned speed figures of 70 or greater in 7 of his 9 lifetime races. He will be standing for $10k until the end of Y24, and then $15k next season. Make sure to consider him for you middle distanced QH mares

Dbacks finished his career with 4 wins from 5 starts, and was undefeated at 870 yards. He is a "specialist" in that area, and should do well with your 870 yard mares, and honestly, might be questionable with mares that were successful in races shorter than that. He is currently standing for $15k.

At the end of the season, Mr Cellophane will also be retiring. As of now, he has a record of 9: 5-1-2. At 550 yards, he has 5 wins from 6 starts, earning speed figures from 70-74 in those 6 races. He is another horse that appears to be a specialist, but in his defense, I have never tried him at 400 or 650 yards. He will be running 2 more times, a sponsored stake week 11, and then finishing up in week 14, and then retiring to stud with an expected fee of $15k.
