Thanks, Jarrod!! I didn't even notice till you pointed it out. I was just excited that she (Djin) is still undefeated at 870-yds ... 4:4-0-0 including 3 stakes victories now.

Aziza (Arab filly) is 3 for 3 in routes for a combined winning margin of 9-1/4 lengths ... next up is stakes company!

I had quite a few Quarter horses and paints racing, but today has been very special for me as my QH filly Royal Gold won! her first win, and a G3 stakes too! And my first mixed breed stakes win!

ROYAL GOLD - 3yo Palomino QH filly - 1ST in the 650 yard grade 3 stake, `Moon Of Moons Trial 1'. And she finished with a speed figure of 79! with a 3/4 lead.

SAACHI - 3yo paint filly- 2nd in 400 yard maiden.

earned $53,000! for the night, my most ever for mixed breeds racing.

Gametime Decision remained undefeated in one of the toughest short fields I've seen in awhile. That is all.

I sent out two fillies;

Go Go Zoom won her race by 2 1/2 lengths and a SF of 69.
Sonoran Sunset took second in her race a neck behind the winner. She received a SF of 63.

Trainer Stats for Year 24: 158: 28-19-13 Win-17.7% OTB-38.0%
Stakes Wins: 7 | Maiden Wins: 16 | 2 Year Old Wins: 11

I am 2 wins from 160 lifetime. Really hoping to hit 200 lifetime wins this year.

Kind of weird & interesting night!
Had a previously crappy sprinter destroy a field by 10 going 870. Next To You won a crazy blanket finish & in doing so drove the "I don't want to run any farther than 350 yards, thank you" nail even further into my head. ;) Had a 2YO Appy filly who told me the opposite and scored her second straight at 350 yards and above.

Sometimes I forget how much of a difference fifty yards can make when that's 20% of the race. :P
LONG OVERDUE FARM: Keepin' it Canada since Year 16.
Stallions to meet your every need. As long as you need a turf sprinter.

I had a 2yo App win a NW2 over 850 yards.
I'm not sure what is a fast speed figure.

Anyone know generally?
