Re: Week 9
Gametime Decision remained undefeated in one of the toughest short fields I've seen in awhile. That is all.

A claimer i bought off Jon Smythe was 2nd in a claimer.
So far, I'm enjoying this, but I have no clue what i'm doing whatsoever.

Bakula remains undefeated at 400yrds. Now I have to wait and see if her record time falls next week when Strawfly Firewater runs at 400yrds.
Others of note:
Beclairs won an NW2, after I claimed him last time out. Will Bill Kelso ran 2nd in a stakes race.

Re: Week 9
Kind of weird & interesting night!
Had a previously crappy sprinter destroy a field by 10 going 870. Next To You won a crazy blanket finish & in doing so drove the "I don't want to run any farther than 350 yards, thank you" nail even further into my head. Had a 2YO Appy filly who told me the opposite and scored her second straight at 350 yards and above.
Sometimes I forget how much of a difference fifty yards can make when that's 20% of the race.

LONG OVERDUE FARM: Keepin' it Canada since Year 16.
Stallions to meet your every need. As long as you need a turf sprinter.

Re: Week 9
I had a 2yo App win a NW2 over 850 yards.
I'm not sure what is a fast speed figure.
Anyone know generally?
