Site is REAL SLOW today?

Anyone else having this problem?
Forum seems to be as speedy as ever, but the SIMsite takes forever to load every page. It's like this on home computer and work computer.....both are PC's and use IE.

It is fine for me, I also use Firefox, which is better than IE.

It's been slow for me too lately, Leo. Also, whether you use IE or Firefox won't affect the speed. It's about the connection somewhere along the line.

It's better now, but before, it seemed to only be SIM that was slow. My other internet sites were normal.

But, as I said, seems to be A-OK now!

Actually, what browser you use *can* affect the speed. I know of sites that are slower in Firefox and sites that are slower in IE. It's all about what scripts are on the page and how they're handled by different browsers.

Google Analytics can be a problem-causing script in one browser at one time, a different one at another, etc, and this script *is* on the SIM, so that was probably your issue.

i'm using firefox.....when i click on my racing barn, it hangs for about 20 seconds before it loads. it only does this on my barn pages, not individual horse pages. i tried ie and it's fine. it seems like firefox is using more memory? i have no clue.
