Actually, that'd work for me! I LOVE minor league baseball!
And cheaper too! (Yes, Em, I'll buy your ticket to this!)

I have a good friend with LOTS of connections. He's calling to see if he can get me 8 Saints tickets for the 29th of August. And HE'S paying for them! He asked me what he could Do for me this year yesterday. I said he didn't have to do anything. But i asked today if he knew how i could get some good saints tickets. So he's working on it.

The only thing better than minor league baseball is FREE minor league baseball.

Jolene, tell your 'friend' that free beer would be even nicer! :)

And by the way, this is pretty sweet! Thanks for using your connections.

7:05pm is the game time. we can get dropped off, it's about 20min from my house. Or we can go early and tailgate. Or we can go early and park for free on the street, but it's a pain to park there.

*tear*

Aside from Jolene, I spend more time at this track than anyone ... and I am not even going to be in town that weekend.

Cry myself a river.

I guess its just extra incentive to go west for the BC.

Jolene Danner wrote:Otherwise there is a lot of hotels around me or around Canterbury. The Canterbury Inn for one, plus an AmericInn and one with a wierd name.

Those 3 are RIGHT next to the track. Like walking across the street gets you there, almost... LOL They are all in safe places. Shakopee isn't a hot spot of crime! hehe
We stayed at the Canterbury Inn for Claiming Crown and it was literally within stumbling distance of Canterbury... and when you drink like we did while we were there, you can't stumble far...

Although, we must've been in for a real treat... the housekeeper's truck got stolen while we were sitting outside drinking... oops... we weren't good witnesses.

Must.Go.Back.To.Canterbury...

Oh and Umm, go Eddie and Pyro! Tell Eddie not to escape anymore until I can make it back.
