Hello all..
Can someone please help me offer horses to other new players.
A few of my friends have started playing, and I'd like to send them a horse each.
I hopped into chat a few days ago, and a couple of people were very helpful and went through everything with me.
Thanks.. But I was doing what they suggested, and we couldn't work out why it didn't work.
When I goto my racing barn. And click on "Sell or Offer Horse"
I get this.. (Ive tried on a lot of different horses).
Apparently there is meant to be a section there, that asks, who to offer the horse to.
Ive tried putting in $1, but it just hits the sales page at $1. Still nowhere to select who to offer it to.
Any help or advice, would be appreciated, thanks.

The "Offer This Horse Privately" button should be under the "Modify Sales Price".
I'd try to log-out, then log back in. It appears to me that the computer must not think you are logged in. I know, you're looking at your horses and you shouldn't be able to do that without being logged in. But, stranger things have happened.

Re: Offering Horses.
Thanks Leonard & Steph..
But yeah, as you can see from the screen cap, there isn't any "offer this horse privately button"
And I've tried logging out thanks, and also clearing cache, clearing cookies. Using Firefox and internet explorer.
Tried with all different types of horses, IE ones that aren't in a race, etc.
And pretty much everything else I can think of for a couple of days.
I thought it might be because I was a new player. But other new players said they had a button.
So maybe new players who have played less than 20 weeks, can offer horses.
But players who have played less than 2 weeks, 3-4-5 whatever,, cant..
I'm only in my second week now, so there might be a timer on it, that it cant be done yet.
Thanks for the help so far.

I believe that offering horses privately is an option once you have played for 3 or more weeks. Try again in a few days.

Re: Offering Horses.
By the way, how have you only been here 2 weeks and already have 60 horses? And still have close to the original $100k in SIMcash?
I'm impressed!

60 horses. Yeah getting there. : )Leonard Beagle wrote:By the way, how have you only been here 2 weeks and already have 60 horses? And still have close to the original $100k in SIMcash?

Ive played 11 days, I try to find 5 from the sales page per day which is the max.
So up to 55 horses bought from there. (a few I have GPed)
And occasionally I couldn't find 5 to buy.
1 free starter horse.
1 bought from a auction for 4k, which doesnt count towards the daily limit.
And a few free gift horses when I started.
2 from John Cutshall
2 from Michael Edwards
1 from Matt Wilson
2 from Jon Smythe
1 from Regina Moore
1 from Skyla Tate
1 from Anzu Mccann
1 from Joel Schwartz
Which was very nice of them. Thank-you again!.
2 from Miryam Cornwall, A generous gift for helping her via pm's. Thanks again.
The above is about right. But its hard to remember exactly. : )
My apologies if I forgot something/someone..
Oh yeah, and I bought a few colts for $1 and gelded them and got paid $1000
I have 13 horses entered into races tomorrow,
So hopefully, they do ok, and start me on the way to earning some cash.
I got down to 60k from buying horses, So I did two articles (newbie guides), a couple of days ago.
And got 40k from those two.. They probably weren't the best, but I tried, and they were the best I could do.
Thanks for the compliment Leonard..
I like the game a lot, so am trying hard and putting a lot of time into it..
Have fun.
Good luck at the track..
*edit. oops, I didn't realize my pm's had gone to several pages, fixed the list a bit now.
