This odd but true and confirmed with others in chat.
With the time zone set to "Phoenix", items are missing from the calendar (E.g. such as Racing Opening on July 27th).
Change the time zone to "New York", reload the calendar and the missing items are there.
Change it back to "Phoenix" or "Los Angeles", reload the calendar, and the items are gone again.
Sort of makes the calendar not helpful.
I have reset my time zone to NY for now.
Edit: (More Info)
If I use "Denver", it works.
The problem seems to be anything scheduled for midnight exactly does not show on the calendar.
