i read o'neils explanation as to why lava didn't perform as expected... apparently he was so worked up from all the excitement that he bleed thru the lasix while racing. o'neil said they will stick to turf or poly-track in CA, and won't go overseas anytime soon (no japan cup) but may eventually try him again outside of CA.

steve kenly's niece found the site and contacted me last fri... i was a bit concerned about getting in trouble at first (since i did it in the first person, cause I am a goofball), but she liked the site... so i am guessing steve et al. got to see it and there are no problems.
