it's still early...i'm sure there wont be a problem filling it. twilight might even be tempted, who knows!

My understanding is that a stakes will go, even if it doesn't have four horses (there was a walkover in a Maryland-bred stakes in Week 8, if I remember correctly), but it's an awful lot of money to leave on the table in terms of third through fifth place. So while fillers aren't needed to make the race go, I'm kind of surprised players with smaller bankrolls aren't taking advantage of this.

That's why when I notice a stakes going with just a few...I like to poke a few newbies. And who knows? There's always room for an upset!
