So who watches TV? I actually shun TV and try not to watch it (although I don't believe watching Lilo and Stitch every other day for 2 years is the bad, this is a good thing), but there are 3 shows that I watch - my 2 1/2 hours a week. These shows are LOST, 24, and The Office.
I am absolutely obsessed with Lost. I am crazy for Lost. It is a fantastic thing.
My Sunday School teacher created 24, which is the only reason I still watch it - it's kind of too intense for me and I tend not to be able to sleep after them.
And The Office is so great I can't describe it.
What else do other people watch?

Hi, my name is Susie and I'm a TV addict.
Seriously - my TV's rarely off. Which isn't to say I'm always paying attention to it, I focus better with noise, but it's always on.
The West Wing is the greatest show in the history of the world.
My other favorites (in no order) are Grey's Anatomy, Scrubs, The Office, Gilmore Girls, Degrassi, and Instant Star.
Oh, and of course what I'm watching right now - The Daily Show! And The Colbert Report.

I only watch the commercials. Is there really anything else on TV?

Now seriously, I watch 24, The Office and The Simpsons on a regular basis. I have been guilty of watching some American Idol this season (I don't know why really) and even watch the Santa Anita replay show when I remember. Since I am working from home these days, I do get to eat lunch and watch Peoples Court - just not the same without Judge Whopner (sp?), but still I find it hilarious what people are suing each other for.

Hi Susie, nice to meet you, I am also a TV addict.
I turn on the TV when I wake up, and I set the sleep timer when I go to sleep. And I just get 4 TV channels with bunny ears. How incredibly sad is that?
I LOVE 24! I've never watched Lost, and I don't see how anyone enjoys the Office. I watch a lot of reruns, but I like some new shows too. I love Will and Grace, Friends, ER (especially the older ones), House, the Simpsons, and the late night NBC shows (particularly Conan O'Brien - he is fun). Oh and the Today Show and Regis and Kelly are what I watch in the morning.

American Idol is the only show I watch on a regular basis. Taylor is the greatest thing on television.
I also occasionally watch Turner Classic Movies (I adore comedies from the 30s, especially if Robert Montgomery is in them *drool*) and shows like Extreme Engineering and Modern Marvels. Also the NASA channel. Yes I am a nerd.
And horse racing, of course.

Well I don't watch as much TV as I used to, It's not as easy when you work 4 ten hour days and then have to feed horses 2x/day 7 days a week. I love Deal or No Deal. I don't know why... It amuses me, and I love to yell "Take the DEAL" at the TV.. My sister and I love to watch the food network, especially the stuff about making fun candy and the Secrets of ... I like ER, Las Vegas, Meduim, America's Next Top Model ( i know...but it's entertaining. LOL), The Simpsons, and ALIAS, but i haven't seen most of these shows in forever! I saw 1/2 of ER last night.

Looks MUCH better w/o that fro. Took me awhile to place him, i usually miss the first part of the show. He doesn't look like a Howie, Not that i really know what a Howie should look like, i just don't picture him... yeah anyway... LOLAra Davies wrote: I only last week realized that the guy on Deal or No Deal is Howie Mandel. He looks totally different without the white man's 'fro.

LOL, I am different in my choice of shows. I like watching stuff on FoodTv, HGTV, Animal Planet, and The Travel Channel. I also watch tons of kids shows(I have a 4yr old) and find that I actually love to watch Sagwa The Chinese Siamese Cat(LOL). As far as real tv, I just don't get into it like I use to. I am tired of reality tv and dramas(I have enough drama in my real life) and miss the comedy shows I wouldn't mind watching with my daughter. The last time I can even remember watching tv regualrly was when Joe Millionaire and Temptation Island were on(LOL). My old favorite shows were Knight Rider, Happy Days, Beverly Hills 90210, and I can't recall the names of the other shows I watched, so yes it has been a while since I watched real tv.

What do I watch? Too much.
Smallville - only because I'm the world's biggest Superman fan. Even though I think the show sucks...except for Lex. Go figure.
House - awesome show. Great acting, a lead character I just love to hate, and pretty good at the mystery level, too.
ER - mostly, at this point, because the husband likes it. After all, the hot guy left. Ahem. It's not as good as it used to be. It's still pretty good.
Boston Legal - I'm unable to resist Shatner as a hasbeen. This is one of the few shows *ever* to really make me laugh...straight comedy never works. And then suddenly you realize they're not pulling punches on major social issues...divorce, pornography, abortion, gun rights, gay rights, you name it.
Stargate (and Atlantis) - Good fun space opera...and Teal'c is the best alien since Spock .
Battlestar Galactia - I never expected the remake of the second corniest science fiction show of all time (Behind Blake's 7) to turn into the closest thing we're going to get to the next Babylon 5. Okay. It's not *nearly* as good. But it's awesome. Rather...adult, though.
Dr. Who - I grew up with this show. And now it's back. Really back. Not a remake. And while I'm a little irritated with /reusing their own old plots/ *ahem*, it's still...very much in the spirit of the original.

I don't usually stick around home long enough to watch TV, and when I do, I'm probably on the SIM. Haha.
But I do love HBO. That channel is just fresh and smart and bold. gender and the City, when it still ran on HBO (because TBS is lame and edits parts), I watched religiously. I wanted to BE Carrie Bradshaw. Big Love is actually pretty good, too. And the HBO documentaries are always fascinating and sometimes make me angry, but in a positive way, if that makes any sense.
VH1 is pretty funny sometimes, too. I Love the 80's was hilarious.
And, of course, the History Channel is amazing. Discovery Health and all that interesting stuff too.
Other than that, TV is pretty redundant. I'm over it. I'd rather pop in a DVD or listen to music.

Susie - Grey's Anatomy is my favorite show! (Well, besides Friends...but we won't even go there.)
I also, am a TV addict. I like Desperate Housewives, American Idol, The Amazing Race, Two and a Half Men, Lost, CSI, and Law and Order (SVU). The only one I'm obsessive about not missing is Grey's, but I'm rarly out at 10pm on Sunday nights, so it's okay.
