New to game about month now.

My question is What happens to all the 5yo gelding at the begining of year 18??

Do they turn 6yo and still run or are they turned out to pasture??

Ron

If it is a turf router there will be steeple chases coming up in year 18 as well. Good place for all those older router geldings! B)

Yep, there will be steeplechasing. And I'm betting that any routers- turf or not- will make nice steeplechase horses. You can bet all my older guys will be out there. :)

Mine will too. And the only 'forced' retirements of horses are due to crises. I had a horse in the old sim who won a race at 8 ;-).

Hey!! I also wanted to add that in Year 18 they are going to be putting in training sessions for our horses. I think its a great idea and will help us newbies out quite a bit. So, keep an eye out for that as well as the steeplechase races. :D
