Unable to capitalize "The" when renaming

Is there a SIM rule against capitalizing the word "The" within a horses name? I recently renamed two horses intending capital "The" however, in both cases my "T" was changed by the system to lower case.

You're correct, the SIM will automatically bump "The" to a lowercase T. If you want to have it changed, e-mail The Steward using the contact form and she can manually override the formatting conventions.
