Can't enter a horse

When I try to enter Thirteens, it says I cannot enter him until he has a name. He has a name - Thirteens. But I cannot enter him in a race still...help?

Yeah that happens with Steward breds, I just renamed mine the same name and it was fine.

Guess that means it's been a while since I've won a Stewards bred to not know that's a common minor problem :).
