GP prizes will be awarded to the top three vote getters. In the absence of ties, there will be awards of 3GP's 2GP's and 1GP, respectively. The top two entries (or so, depending on ties) will go on to a compete in a final contest for all categories.

Shabdiz is named after a legendary Persian stallion.

Unfortunately the horse sucks, even if his name is awesome. It must be because he is chestnut instead of black like his namesake.

I named this horse after a 1970's Jim Stafford song called "I Don't Like Spiders and Snakes"
With the sire being Snake...the phrase "you fool you fool" popped into my head and I had to think about it for a second before I remembered where I had heard that phrase. So I named the colt for that part of the song.
