Aren't those names also.Rachel Sadler wrote:I bred twin fillies and called them Flotsam (wreckage found in the water) and Jetsom (items that are thrown overboard so as to stabilise a boat or to make it lighter in an emergency) unfortunately, neither were very good on the race track.

Re: Best Named Twins
I was seriously in Lost mode when I got my first set of twins, so I named them Boone Carlyle and Shannon Rutherford. Perhaps not the best but it amuses me, and the Lost fans I've talked too, lol

Re: Best Named Twins
These are by Dante x Parma (Sadler's Wells)
Pompeii (f)
Herculaneum (c)
Dante was an Italian poet, and Parma is an Italian city.
Most here probably know that Pompeii and Herculaneum were twin cities in Italy that were in the path of destruction when Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. erupted.
Pompeii is thought to mean a victory march, and Herculaneum was named for the hero Hercules...a hero.
So...I think I got these two names nailed....they might be a disaster on the track or marching their way to the winners circle like heroes.

Re: Best Named Twins
Sorry to say that I've just lost heart with the Forum.
No reflection in the slightest on this contest -- I loved running the contest and I loved reading all the entries.
So, I declare everybody who entered this contest a winner and I'm sending you each 3K GP's.
It you don't receive your GP's, please let me know by PM in the SIM as I'm not going to be posting or reading anything in the Forum from now on.
Again, thanks to all who entered -- great twin names!

Thanks, Jeb!
I think a lot of folks just don't scroll down, and I'm fairly hit and miss with this section myself.
