Contest limited to yearlings and 2 yo's that you own.

Base rules at viewtopic.php?f=19&t=17898

There are three categories. As before, you can enter one horse in each category (must be different horses) so you have three chances to win.

Here -- Reference: Where the horse's name makes reference to some song, group, performer, poem, quote,...whatever

Obviously, entering a horse in each category triples your chance of winning 8)
Plus triples the fun -- it's so much fun to read all the names!

I'm a LOST fan, and this horse was named after one of the episodes...the one about Richard Alpert who never aged, and the episode explained why that was so. I had a Lost, mare that I bred to Ad Infinitum...and it resulted in a a colt that got a wings gallop comment. :)

Ab Aeterno -- Ad Infinitum X Clever Girl, by Lost.

Ad Infinitum - is a Latin phrase meaning to infinity or having no end.
Ab Aeterno - means from the beginning of time, or a very long time ago.

I named Conando right around the time that Conan O'Brien was about to be done with the Tonight Show this past spring. It was a time when he was doing some of his best work in my opinion :)

I do so love reading all the entries!

I can't resist entering a couple. As it's Leo's and my contest, if I should win any prize money, I'll add any of my winnings onto the grand prize winner.

Cottonwood Whisper

Named for the song "Song of Wyoming" by Chris LeDoux. Wyoming is my favorite place on Earth, and where I have a lot of wonderful memories. (This filly's half brother is Wind In The Sage, also named for the song.)

"Down in the canyon, the cottonwood whispers
A song of Wyoming for me."
