Wow! 
We got lots and lots of great entries, necessitating subpolls in each category. There are three subpolls in this "Anything" category. This is subpoll 1.
Poll will run for 5 days. You can vote for up to three horses. You can change your vote at any time.
Prizes:
1st place - 2,000 GPs and will move on to final poll
2nd place - 2,000 GPs
3rd place - 1,000 GPs
Below, for your convenience, I've gathered together what was said when making the entry. In a few cases, I've added links that I thought were fun; I've noted these as "Jeb adds" so the player won't be blamed.

Cotopaxi: If it were a little more obvious, I would have put it in the parents category. Cotopaxi is the name of a South American volcano.

Basset - Vernacular x Gone To The Dogs she's named in memory of my basset hound Otis. It makes me smile to see that she loves getting treats and getting petted but isn't too fond of the baths, just like Otey.

Kraven - Fang x Tairaterces (by Loki Dynasty)
Being a son of Fang he was begging to be named after a vampire so I named him Kraven after the character in Underworld.
