I am trying to use the search screen to look at horses with the dam sire "Epic" but I constantly pick up "Epic Hoax" as well. Is there any way of making the search just relate to the characters you put into the field? Had the same problem when searching for the horse "Zen".
I've tried putting it in inverted commas but this didn't work.

one option that can help is by using the state bred option along with sire name, assuming they stood in different states, and the one you are looking for wasn't shipped around much.

That won't help when searching for dam sire.
