Three Chimneys is having an open house on Nov 2nd (that wednesday) from 10-1 if anyone is interested in going. I'm thinking of flying out tuesday night if people want to go and I can bum a ride off someone.

Just read on the Farmer's Almanac that it's supposed to be "unseasonably cold" around Breeders' Cup time, so heads up, be ready for cold weather!

Nope, definitely this year's. Cold last year too, though.

And Farmer's Almanac has always been relatively accurate, at least for my area. They don't deal with specifics, just generalities, like "cold" or "unsettled" for a particular week or something.

I checked the almanac, and it's been off for the entire month of October thus far, including this week. That could be promising.
