Yachtsman was stubborn and uncooperative in the arena today and made the rider, Sami, cry.
Sami needs to get a grip. Don't dis on the Yachts-man - he's tops!

This thread makes me chunkle. I wish I could change my fox hunters over to eventing because I keep getting bad behavior comments with the hounds, lol.
Todays comment...
Subject: Fox Hunter
Kate Bosworth kicked at a hound today, but fortunately missed. Looks like Kate Bosworth needs some additional training!
Must go through the fields and put some of the slackers to work, lol.

During today's fox hunt, Shrouded In Myst took it easy and rode with the second field, bypassing the jumps.

Bold King served as a mentor for an inexperienced rider today. I think he's improved much from when he kicked a cat and stepped on a mouse's tail in previous attempts. 8)

Re: The Brag About Your Pensioners Thread
Well, a new year and another chance for my beloved old goobers to try to earn a little bit more money.
Last year wasn't too bad, they are doing a wonderful job in helping to pay the bills for the pasture pals who are not working. I rarely make old broodmares go to work once they can't have anymore babies, nor do some of of my top money winners have to get a job after doing well on the track.
And so I start this new year on kind of a bad report....poor Sami
----------------------------------------
LESSONS BARN - Year 34:
Acts Of Courage was stubborn and uncooperative in the arena today and made the rider, Sami, cry.
-----------------------------------------
YEAR 34 Purses
Total = $0
-----------------------------------------
We should get some buttons for Sami...like we do our horse....but have them say things like:
Give Sami tissue
Give Sami bandaid
Give Sami hug
Give Sami thumbs up
Give Sami a mint.
Again, I hope some will join in this year and track your pensioner's money, or antics in the lesson barns.

Re: Brag About Your Pensioners Thread
This isn't really to brag, but one of my favorite horses I bought when i first started playing just died --> No. He never won a race for me, but I still loved him to pieces. He earned me more money than the majority of my horses for like 2 seasons, just finishing in the money in stakes races. RIP No!
