I am pretty sure both Rome and Milian are year round. Regardless, ONE of those tracks will always be working since the stakes schedule has races listed for every week - and they are rather close in location, so you're safe to stay there.

Milan is Northern Italy, Rome is Southern Italy and yes racing is year round in Italy. The nice thing about having Italy open now is that it is close to other European circuits. I was wondering if it would be worth shipping a horse there, then looked around at how close it was to the other circuits and felt confident I would be able to find races.

Consider that distance-wise, shipping a horse around Europe makes infinitely more sense than shipping from New York to California or New York to Florida or Florida to Cali... The US is a pretty darn large place!
