Unclench Your Fist may be a could option for those looking for a dirt router /steeplechasing combo. I have found several B+ chasing comments from non conventional (read not chasing ) mares. Mr. Xett has kindly loaned him to me for a season to drum up some chasing business for him and I hope that he may be of interest to some of you . more info to come in the breeding forum later. Thanks for looking!

I don't see anything about him in this thread but Edward Cullen got me a B/ A- with my Three of a Kind mare. The foal is This One. The Traf yearling also got the B/ A- for chasing. Just thought we might need to add Edward to the list if he is not on it.

ONE MAN sire of 15 winners including SW ONE HAND will stand this season for only $5,000.
He has sired 57.1% winners from runners up through year 32.

Quick question for you Steeplechase peeps! I am dipping my hand in breeding Chasers, and my one chaser colt I bred last year came from a A- Nick for Chasing (He got a C+ for Flat))(Cowboy Mac X Original Tough Guy mare). He galloped HTT. Should I be totally bummed, or does the Gallop comment mean anything to chasers?

Thank you guys :)

I have yet to see where gallops have any say in how the horse will perform has a chaser. Jaguars was a Not Impressed gallop and she has earned nearly half a mil chasing.

Has far has nicks go 100% of my A nicks are naturals. 65% of my A- are naturals.

don't bother galloping chaser bred yearlings unless you have a thick skin..

lol

Actually the highest remark i've gotten is wings and the horses wasn't that stellar. I count on getting crappy gallop marks so that I know as a chaser breeder I've done my job in creating a successful jumper.. (the flat/chasing project I've got on the side has different results.. not going to confuse you so i'll be quiet)

Much relieved to hear that this colt has a half a chance, but with my training, that chance may drop  . Thank you much for you help and advice!!

This makes me happy. I have one that galloped "Not Impressed"

Got to start from the bottom to get back to the top. Just wonder how long that will take in the game and in life.
