Well I am not familiar with the Sire or Mare, but I am going to take a guess at saying you might try the horse on dirt. Although most of the blood seems to be turf, there is also dirt in there. Couldn't hurt to try.
Also, maybe drop back on the distance if you try the dirt. Like 1 1/16m or 1m. I would lay off the equipment, try to start clean as that might help with seeing how the horse takes to dirt.
