I just bought this girl at auction and am wondering if there's any tips for which race to run her in next as well as what equipment might be best for her.

<a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=21199' target='_blank'>http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php ... D=21199</a>

Thanks for the help.

Also just wanted to check up on my other two girls. I'm still getting the hang of this game and would like some imput as to what I might be doing wrong or perhaps even right. :P

Thanks again!

Any more sage advice?

Just scratched Reasonable Dynamo from the stakes and entered into an allowance in week 7. Could the distance just be too long for her or too short? In her past races past a mile she flattened out, is this due to races being too long or too short?

Also one other new person question, is there a listing somewhere of the terms used throughout the race to describe what they mean exactly, and if it's something bad that's something that could be done (through either adding or subtracting equipment)? Is there something like that here in the forums, or on another website?

Thanks for the help Kelse. And hey Ara! Long time no see! You should pop into the "other" game to see the changes that have been made, little steps but it's improving. :)

You can find a number of answers to these questions by reading through the "Help for New Players" section of the forum. Other places to look through include The Feature Race, which has had articles in the past answering some of these questions I believe.

Information on equipment and its possible positive/negative effects can be found off of the entries page, or at: <a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/racing/equipment.html' target='_blank'>http://www.simhorseracing.com/racing/equipment.html</a>

Thanks Eric for the link, I read it over once before but obviously not as throughly as I just did and I spotted the reasons to use them. Also scanned through the New Users forum and I think I'll take all the equipment off the horses except the lasix if it's been used to see what happens. I've been trying to go off what they have been using, which obviously isn't getting me very far.

I'm known on most games I play as Brassy, so yes you may call me brassy. Also I enjoy your articles Randall. They really help to keep me informed as to what is what since I'm not a full time player here...yet. :)
