Didn't know Robert but usually saw his name as the owner of the winning horse in a lot of races that mine were in.
Luis' eulogy was both interesting and sad and exceptionally well-written.
My condolences to everyone who was "touched" by Robert in some way.
It's better to have it & not need it than to need it & not have it.

I never knew Roberto, but I know his loss struck a blow to all who did. My condolences to his family and everyone who called him friend.

Incredibly moving piece, Luis; thanks so much for sharing your memories with us. Every time I dealt with Roberto in-game he was nothing but class. What a sad loss. He will be sorely missed.

RIP, Roberto. I remember back when I first joined the SIM, he was very kind and patient in giving me advice on a couple of horses I bought from him.

Thank you for your piece, Luis - my condolences to you and all who knew Roberto.

I know this is a bit late, but I was away all summer with little internet and just now saw this. Wow, what a shock. Roberto was one of those players that always made me nervous if I went to enter a race and saw a horse of theirs in it. He was a great guy, great trainer, and very nice. Luis, I'm sorry for your loss. Thanks for sharing your memories with us. RIP Roberto.
