I was there once to see the Cornhusker when Perfect Drift and Roses in May ran. It was kinda cool. I thought that the place was kinda dumpy I guess. Like they care more about the Casino then the track. I did like that it was level with the track to get good pictures although I didn't cause it was at night and too dark and the film I had sucked... LOL anyways. I don't often bet at all. But sometimes i like to 'cap the QH races there. I think that the QH meet is better then the TB meet.

Yeah it's definately not one of the premier tracks by any means. They did build a new paddock last year that looks pretty nice but I hear that it actually isn't that great. It has some sort of synthetic brick surface that's made of some kind of rubber compound, and apparently horse's shoes get caught on it and it rips the nails out of their shoes before a race...
As far a handicapping though I think it's wonderful because it's an honest track that so few people follow juicy odds aren't that hard to find. There's a few jocks I suspect are crooked but they're not that hard to spot.
I went to the Cornhusker last year that was pretty cool, Mike Smith was there (I forget who he rode though). The mixed meet there is classier for sure, I find QH's to be perplexing however.
