Alright, I am having some problems with all of my horses running lines saying "flattened out" or "no response late" and I'm at the end of my rope and getting frustrated. My better horses aren't doing well and my lower level horses, well, yeah they're not doing well either. I've made 55 starts this year with only 3 wins - this is starting to get old. I have yet to do my breeding for this year, but at the rate at which my horses are running I'm both reluctant and clueless as to where to start on that end as I have researched and gathered opinions to no avail...

Some examples of my predicament...

Broke slowly taken back urged flattened out (Change the Past)
Broke well rank urged turn flattened out (Halifax)
Clean break veered outside urged turn flattened out (Superstitions)
Broke well taken back bid between horses flattened out (Silenceinthedark)
Clean break mid pack bold move inside flattened out (Relax)
Stumbled start settled mild bid inside flattened out (Quizno)
Broke well mid pack bid between horses flattened out (Orion Leader)
Broke well mid pack checked flattened out (Allister)
Broke well dueled gained ground flattened out (Evanesco)
Broke well mid pack bid between horses lacked response (Marauder's Map)
Broke well mid pack bid between horses flattened out (Millencolin)
Stumbled start flashed speed wide turn flattened out (Monongahela)
Broke well dueled down inside turn no response late (Shinedown)
Clean break tucked in along rail bold move outside no rally when asked (Panicatthedisco)

Will someone please save me from this insanity?!?

I haven't looked at the horses, but sometimes adding a tt will help. Or shortening up in distance, or soemtimes adding more distance. Sometimes a drop in class.

I think the last time you asked about Change the Past someone had excellent advice in that horses who want to run long distances and are being made to sprint will flatten out because they can't keep up.
