A little help from the vet in my first stakes

Post by Amanda Haderthauer »

So this monday will be my first ever stakes race! I vet check my filly today after realizing that she had last ran in week 7, I was worried that it was too much rest. After telling me that she was in solid physical condition he also gave me her second piece, which I had wrong. Hopefully getting her equipment right will bring her luck in our first ever stakes race. Thanks Dr Hacklu :D

Maid to Battle. Not expecting too much, she needed a race that week, so I thought what the hay, lets give it a shot. It was an impulse entry so if she runs well I will be ecstatic and if she flops I wont be too disappointed. :)
