Does Stud Muffin have a Facebook page or something else where we can follow his new life?

One of the most beautiful greys to hit the track, Evening Attire, is at that farm. : )

I love that old guy!

Evening Attire retired once around age 8, hated it, healed up nicely from a minor injury so they tried running him again and he loved it, and finally retired at age 10. But he was running in stake races at that age...an amazing horse.

Here's a link to Evening Attire's last race, a stakes race...in which he not only beat horses far younger than him but he also broke the track record for that distance...all at age 10...lol.

Evening Attire's grey half sibling, Tacticianor is also there. He had a much sadder story in life, wasn't a talented running, ended his career in the lowest claiming levels and finally the stockyards waiting to be sold for slaughter - he was found and rescued...came to the farm looking like a skeleton.

Below is a link to a photo blog by Barbara Livingston - showing Evening Attire and Tacticianor at Akindale Rescue. The 3rd photo down and to the right...shows how bad his condition Tacticianor's condition was at the time of rescue.

I hope Stud Muffin gets to be great friends with those two. As the other photos show...life on this wonderful farm is a good one. He's going to be one very very pampered and happy thoroughbred, and it would look pretty cool to see 3 beautiful greys playing in the snow - if it happens...I hope someone can get some photos of them.

Akindale today posted a picture of Stud Muffin out in the snow on their FB page, he looked great, very alert and happy. So glad he is safe.
