Running Thread of Break Updates

Post by The Steward »

-Added "My Stallions" filter when breeding your mare
-"Random" color now gets you only one of the parents' colors
-The 2 Alaskan All Weather tracks will show up when you search for All Weather OR Alaska, not one or the other.
-Combined Nor Cal and So Cal circuits into one California circuit
-Average earnings per start is a thing
-Mass vetting and mass whispering is officially online
-On your My Results page, a Ship All to Home Location button (everything that has a home location) will pop up.
-An addendum to leasing a mare has been made that makes it so you HAVE to breed the mare if she is leased to you, or the mare returns and is unable to be bred for the rest of the year. That is for all you shenanigany sneakers out there.
-New section in "Bets" that lists the day's highest bet races or most popular races to bet so you won't have to look.

-Final Break Update: "Sales" Page Mare Leases
Don't want to pay $8 or more for a public lease auction? For fifty cents (500 game points) you can list your horse for lease. The horse will be posted all year, no 10 day limit like with sales horses. Need to change the lease price? If the horse is still up (you never took it down) you can change the lease price without paying again, all year! (If you take the horse off the page and then put it back up, you have to pay again). You are now able to search for lease horses on the sales page and in the search itself. Stalking a mare who might be for lease? They will show up on your alerts like sales horses do.

Whoa Em, you must have been reading my mind. I literally was thinking about how helpful a "my stallions" filter on a mare's breeding page would be just an hour ago, if that!

Nice compromise with the random color.

There are white thoroughbreds out there, and if part of the fantasy for some here is to own a white thoroughbred, then that color should be made available forever.

Edit: I know some here hate that color...but I like it.

I picked random for everything and got twins for the first time ever and one of them has "c" for the color --

Is "c" a new color or is this color an error?

I'm guessing that's chestnut, but normally it's "ch".
Edit: Weird, it only did it for the twin!

Finally! (I asked for this some time ago but was ignored) (probably because I talk too much so it was missed)

Excellent! One step closer to my dream of adding correct color genetics to the game
