I want to sponser a G2 Stakes race on Turf in Japan for Fillies and Mares 3 and up but Im not sure on the distance or date.

I want it to be at least 1 1/8 miles to 1 1/2 miles though.

I also dont know what week to do it. I was thinking week 16 or maybe week 1 or 2 of the new sim year. (Those dates because this is to promote my stallion King Kamehameha return to breeding in year 19)

So here is my question, all you trainers who have fillies and mares over in Japan, what distances do your mares like?

I might even do an allowance one week and a stakes the other.

But I need an idea on distances and what weeks owners would be interested in.

Any one want to jump in here and give me some ideas?

Week 16 would be good for Stung By A Bee Angela if she don't go the Estrellas :)

I could figure something out for this.

Well, the Hong Kong Vase is a G1 in Week 15, at 1 1/2 miles, so if you're wanting to attract bigger names, I'd probably make it either 1 1/8 miles or 1 1/4 miles, so the two races aren't competing against each other.

So how about an allowance week 16 and a G2 Week 2 of the new year

Would anyone race in those?

Allowance week 16 in Japan on Turf 3yo and up Fillies and Mares 1 1/2 miles

G2 Stakes week 2 in Japan on Turf 3yo and up Fillies and Mares 1 1/4 miles

How are the distances/dates?

I might even be willing to do a 3rd race if someone needs a special condition....

I would be interested in possibly both. I have a few mares in japan.

Psalm would love to race in it! However, I'm retiring her at the end of the year, so it would have to be sometime this year for us to make it :-)
