I feel overloaded with horses, so right now I'm going to have my first of a few smaller sales (I have yet to seriously sort through my broodmares and older horses so they aren't in here at the moment). The auction will end whenever I get online next Friday, so until I say STOP sometime Friday morning, it'll keep going. Technically, it will end Thursday at midnight, but as I won't be online, feel free to keep bidding if you want. Happy bidding!

Hip #1: Isle: 2yo chestnut colt (Fasileyev-Floating Island [A.P. Indy])
His dam is a half-sister to Big and Beautiful, Musical Minister and Pico Teneriffe. Big and Beautiful is the dam of RADO and Fight, Musical Minister is Minister Eric's mother, and Pico Teneriffe is the dam of NICE AND COZZY, the winner Bajan, and two-time placed (from two starts) Island.
Amanda: $50,000

Hip #2: Roundup: 2yo chestnut colt (Buddha-Tina Bull [Holy Bull])
Roundup is based on the success of multiple stakes winner IN CAHOOTS, who is a product of the Buddha/Holy Bull match. Tina Bull sold for $950,000 at the 2005 Keeneland November Sale. She was graded stakes placed, and finished out her career with a record of 17-6-4-4 for almost $300,000. You can see a photo of her racing HERE if you are interested. The best part about Tina Bull is that her dam, Izana, is a half-sister to ROCK HARD TEN. Tina Bull is also a half-sister to Mi Amigo Guelo, who was champion imported 2yo male in Puerto Rico. Additionally, Tersa, the dam of Rock Hard Ten and granddam of Tina Bull, was champion 2yo filly in France, as well as highweight in Europe at two. Another horse directly in her pedigree is Gato Del Sol, the Kentucky Derby winner.
Amanda: $75,000

Hip #3: Gold Standard: 3yo chestnut colt (Stay Gold-Tremendous Start [Tremendous])
Already a winner, this colt looks to be a nice dirt router. He just finished second going 1 3/8 miles in Chile after breaking his maiden nicely going 1 1/16.
Jade Leroux: $40,000

Hip #4: Traffic Jam: 5yo gray mare (Ground Zero-Tribute to Flight [Tribute to Dehere])
Her dam was a two-time winner, and also finished third in the Grade 1 Matron. Barren this year, but it won't be long before next year rolls around!
Evan Rosier: $5,000

Hip #5: Fighting With Envy: 5yo bay mare (Worth Fighting For-Enmity [Rivalry])
Dam was a winner, as was the granddam, Foreign Intrigue. Foreign Intrigue's dam, Foreigner, was a two-time Champion in the SIM who won races including the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies and Santa Anita Oaks over the girls, and the Fountain of Youth, Belmont, and Swaps over the boys. She was also the dam of an astounding number of VERY nice horses. Look at Foreigner's page HERE to see her progeny.
Jolene Danner: $25,000

Hip #6: Lightningbolt: 1yo chestnut colt (Lightninginabottle-Sonsierra [Saint Ballado])
Sire won the Breeders' Cup Juvenile and was Champion Older Male. He is also the sire of 11 winners from only two crops of racing age, including Moonstone (6 wins for $485,000) and Strike Deadly (4 wins for $330,000). Saint Ballado mares have produced Everything Right ($909,000), Love of Mine ($409,000), Mexico ($73,500 in 3 starts), and The Thinker ($269,000), among other winners.
Tom Mudgett: $60,000

Hip #7: Bus On: 1yo gray colt (A Bus-Fasileyev's Risk [Fasileyev])
A Bus is the sire of 22 winners, including the superstar Guitar.
Jade Leroux: $40,000

Hip #8: Clerestory: 2yo gray filly (Preachinatthebar-Bold Pegasus [Fusaichi Pegasus])
This filly was second in her debut. Preachinatthebar is the sire of five winners, and his foals tend to be very precocious.
Randall Graves: $20,000

Hip #9: Kheraz: 3yo dark bay colt (Sagamix-Kazzia [Zinaad])
He's a NICE NICE colt who if he doesn't bring his reserve, I WILL be keeping. I was originally going to keep him, but if he can bring something right now I'll sell him. His mother was a VERY NICE real life turf mare and is pretty at that!
Reserve NOT YET MET: $100,000

Hip #10: Lady Cat Style: 3yo bay filly (End Result-Cat Appeal [Storm Cat])
End Result is the sire of the phenomenal End of the Line, who has been unstoppable this year. This filly is also out of a Storm Cat mare, making her very appealing as a future broodmare.

Just wanted to say that I made it an even 10 hips for this session, so I added four more to the original set.

I liked her too (obviously, since I claimed her)! If I had more time, I'd keep her and probably get her at least a maiden win.

A reminder that this session will be closing soon, so get your bids in if you are still interested. Also, I have lowered almost all of the reserves for those horses who have not yet received bids. Thank you!
