Hi,

I finished an article on AW routing, the males and I think it turned out okay. I was working on it forever but it picked up steam once my therapist told me I had to improve my posture and my scapular/steel ball balance whatever and cut way back on the Norco and the doctor took my sling away. But I missed writing articles and the money never hurts. I've been doing mostly editing lately and need the change.

Yes, it's very long. It's over 1200 words and I'm pleased as punch to finally be typing that many words again! I'll be doing some more, maybe some that are longer (hey that's what the therapist wants!) but they'll be fun to read as AW racing and breeding is a favorite topic of mine. A lot's going on with it right now including at least one stallion on pension watch.

Enjoy reading and if anyone wants to provide feedback or discuss (including the marvelous Madelene and Jon if he's got more questions) that'd be as much fun as writing them!

I like your stud previews/reviews the best. I'll have to keep Monster and Caterwaul in mind for breeding this year, although I'm not sure how those results will turn out as I don't have the best turfy/plastic mares.

I'm researching the newer point sires too. I don't think most of them are putting out any or a lot of racers yet in the routes.

Just want to note that Fireburst, my colt in the article, ran 1:00.21 at 5 furlongs and 1:12.25 at 6 furlongs. Also, his half to Rocky Mountain is a filly.

I love Happy Racing. Marzy and I were comparing our yearlings the other night in chat. I've got 2 wings/great colts, but as I'm still trying to figure out their equipment their works aren't indicative of their abilities yet. I'm optimistic though!

Yeah can't wait to race Happy Dynasty who worked 1:00.21 and 1:26.09.

Dynasty's Queen who's a full sister to the broodmare of Happy Dynasty will probably be seeing him this year if she retires!
