What a strong edition this year. 14 runners, and I think 9 or 10 have a legit shot at winning.
What is everyone's opinion on the race?

Re: Steward's Cup Steeplechase
I just switched Dogfox Apparatus from the SC to the Amish International so the race is down to 13 runners for now. I love the chance to pit him against those in the SC because I think you're right, we have a very strong edition this year, but the International is more in line with the distances I've run him mostly at this year.
I think Bikini Pic Please might show up and has a good chance of making the top 6 with Leader Da Hedge and Centauros finishing close behind Russian, Factious, and Wishing on Stars.

The mighty Factious has never been off the board, but the field is tough.

I am very concerned about an off the board finish. I think it is highly probable that it might happen. The Steward wrote:The mighty Factious has never been off the board, but the field is tough.
I'd love for Leader to show up and hit the board.

Re: Steward's Cup Steeplechase
I'm hoping that Stanley improves his 4th place finish from last year.
Factious has a 3 week break when she had that terrible race, I suspect that she wasn't fit enough. She should be her usual self in the SC.
We also have some talented first time SC runners in Centauros, Researcher, and Russian. Any one of them could still the show.
