SC Distaff Pace

They’re off and pacing, Flame in My Heart steps out well, Ms. Moneypacer gets away in stride and Tough Luck is fighting for position, Fox Valley Liberty, Hot Missiles, Scary Money, Girl Got Luck, On the Pace, Writewhatitdo, Pc Morning Rise, Falling Out and Butter Nut completes the field, which is led by Flame in My Heart. She steps away a length in front, Ms. Moneypacer and Hot Missiles, Fox Valley Liberty parked out three wide, Scary Money just in behind, On the Pace throws her head, Girl Got Luck on the rail, Writewhatitdo, Butter Nut has moved up, Tough Luck, Falling Out was tough to handle but has settled down, and Pc Morning Rise trailing now, with a half mile left to go. Flame in My Heart still uncontested on the lead, she jogs along ahead of Hot Missiles up into second, Ms. Moneypacer, Fox Valley Liberty getting tired, Scary Money has remained consistent, On the Pace, Writewhatitdo is gaining willingly on the outside now, then Girl Got Luck, turning into the stretch and Flame in My Heart can see the wire, she’s stepping strongly, Hot Missiles can’t go with her, here’s Scary Money, then a host of late movers, Writewhatitdo, Falling Out, Tough Luck, Butter Nut, it’s Flame in My Heart, Writewhatitdo is getting closer, Scary Money, down to three, Flame in My Heart, gonna be tight, Flame in My Heart found the line in time, she prevails over Writewhatitdo, then Scary Money and Falling Out.

SC Distaff Trot

They’re off and trotting, good beginnings all around, Dreams of Fear quickly wants that lead, Dainty will press the pace, Diamond Honey, Diamond Battle, Devon Fancy, Bound for Cash, Cruel Fate, Share a Battle, Riddle of Steel, Velvety Dreams well back, Listen to My Dream is at the back, they’re going awfully quickly early though, led by Dreams of Fear and Diamond Honey heads apart, Dainty pressing them and those three get away from the others, four lengths back to Devon Fancy, then Cruel Fate, Share a Battle and Diamond Battle three across, Bound for Cash, Velvety Dreams down on the inside, Riddle of Steel, and Listen to My Dream is well back, half mile down, half left to go, and Dreams of Fear has led every step of the way, she trots on with Diamond Honey and Dainty pressing her stride for stride, Devon Fancy is much closer now, she’s cut the gap in half, Cruel Fate, Share a Battle consistent so far, Diamond Battle, Bound for Cash, Velvety Dreams is making a move now, she’s cruising up the rail, a tough spot to be, then Riddle of Steel, turning into the stretch and Devon Fancy collars Dreams of Fear! Those two go on with it, but here come Velvety Dreams and Riddle of Steel from well back, those two are closing in on the leaders, Diamond Honey could do no more, then Dainty, Devon Fancy, Dreams of Fear, now Velvety Dreams sweeps up inside her, Velvety Dreams with a tremendous closing rush, she nails them on the line in a dramatic finish for a big upset! Velvety Dreams, Devon Fancy had to settle for second, then Dreams of Fear and Riddle of Steel.

SC Open Pace

Off and pacing in the $500,000 Open Pace, good clean start for Hot Misschief who strides away early, Spice It Up Lindy, Writetheheart, Deal, Fast Heat, Like a Cam Fella, Leo Da Vinci, Seven Scary Days, Rock Lobsters, Igetthecase, Rites of Money and Leave You is the early trailer jogging to the six furlong marker, Hot Misschief is striding powerfully on the front end, Writetheheart presses that one moving ahead of Deal, Spice It Up Lindy, Fast Heat, two lengths to Like a Cam Fella parked out wide, Seven Scary Days starts to move up early, Leo Da Vinci and a big gap back to the trailers Rock Lobsters, Leave You and Igetthecase, a solid pace here set by Hot Misschief into the turn! A length in front and trying to rush away, Writetheheart tiring, Deal is backing up badly, not today for Deal, Like a Cam Fella is making up ground steadily, Spice It Up Lindy, then Rites of Money and Rock Lobsters starting to close, Leo Da Vinci and Seven Scary Days, they’re into the stretch now and Hot Misschief can see victory! Like a Cam Fella is the one who stands in the way, he’s rolling swiftly down the outside, the big strides of Like a Cam Fella have put him right up alongside Hot Misschief, Rites of Money with a head full of steam, Rock Lobsters, four across the track now, Hot Misschief, Like a Cam Fella, and Rites of Money, way too close to call between these three, a three-way photo in the Open Pace. (Like a Cam Fella by a nose)

SC Open Trot

They’re off and trotting, and they all get away well from the truck, Will Be Drunk is ultra fast and angles to the rail, Will Be Drunk powerful out here early, marching away from the field, Quarter Hog settles down in second, Greyhound’s Ghost, Up Around the Rite, Made of Awesome, Illiterate Cash, Bronx Bomber and then Will Be Muddy, everyone else is closely grouped except for the leader, Will Be Drunk, who powers into the backstretch four ahead of the rest, Quarter Hog, Made of Awesome, and Greyhound’s Ghost, Up Around the Rite is offstride now, Up Around the Rite is taken back behind horses, Illiterate Cash, Bronx Bomber, and Will Be Muddy, everything is now okay with Up Around the Rite and he’s back in the game. Still Will Be Drunk, but Quarter Hog is edging much closer, Up Around the Rite is coming on hard, Made of Awesome has passed Greyhound’s Ghost, Bronx Bomber, star studded field here, and they’re swinging into the stretch, and Quarter Hog collars Will Be Drunk, Will Be Drunk backs up as if he’s walking, it’s Quarter Hog, but here comes Made of Awesome, Up Around the Rite, Greyhound’s Ghost and Bronx Bomber, five across the track! Quarter Hog, Made of Awesome, Up Around the Rite, they’re so close, Quarter Hog, Made of Awesome, there’s the line, Quarter Hog! He made it happen a neck to Made of Awesome, Up Around the Rite third, just ahead of Greyhound’s Ghost and Bronx Bomber, two necks separated the five of them.
