Chemo Free is the way to be - New/Junior player giveaway- closed!!

Post by Bob Green »

NOTE: this is an old giveaway and no longer open.

EDITED 8/5: opened back up to those who have already picked. And, to help move things along, let's make it two per day instead of two and then done.

No, I'm not giving away new or junior players, but I am trying to give away something nice to a few of them. 8)

I have too many yearlings and want to get rid of some. I’ve also decided to celebrate the end of my wife’s chemo treatments. Somehow it made sense to combine these two things in a giveaway with a chance to win some much nicer horses. My wife was diagnosed with cancer January 12 of this year ( can read more here if you haven't and want to ) and has her last treatment today! There’s some follow up stuff yet to make sure we’re done, but for now I’m just celebrating reaching this milestone.

Here’s the deal: I’ve got my yearlings all renamed except 49 ok/htt gallops (one is a claimer, AW miler filly by Winter Olympics). Most of them are turf miler or turf router with some other TB divisions and some Appys sprinkled in. Any new or junior player is welcome to request two of them, they will be ‘sold’ to you via private sale for $0. I have randomly selected some of them as winners and assigned the horses listed below to them. Receive a yearling with a note, and you’ll also receive the horse noted. To request a yearling, reply to this thread and copy/paste the link to the yearling. Not sure when I will start sending them out, so be patient if it takes me a day or two, with a busy weekend coming up I may even wait until Monday.

Link to my unnamed yearlings

Enter the Veil – Wow gallop 2 yo turf router colt by Quite the Feat with a decent pedigree on the mare’s side. Ready to race as soon as 2 yo turf routes open, might be fast enough to try at a mile while waiting for the router races to open. Fastest 5F turf work was 58.76. This is a pretty sweet pickup for free. - Won by Pete Vella

Shovel – wow gallop 2 yo dirt miler filly by Pyrotechnic Guy, and out of a ‘star’ broodmare. Ready to race with miler races just around the corner. Also a pretty sweet pickup for free.

Stubborn Dutchman – Wing gallop 2 yo turf miler colt with some nice works including a couple sneaking in just under 47 seconds. Ready to race with turf mile races just around the corner. - Picked up by Sten Rino Haakonsen

Glittering Glass – Wow gallop Appy yearling colt by Buy Me a Round. - picked up by Clinton Graves
