I was just informed by the Kenly's that Lava will aim for the Gold Cup again this year... as originally there had been talk of that not being the case. =p

What are you talking about, that's been on his agenda the whole time. In talking to Doug and his assistant over the last 2 months, that's been the plan... either that or the owners and the trainer aren't communicating.

After Dubai... in the media... they had kept saying he was going to miss the Gold Cup.. and his next start would have been the Pacific Classic.

Sorry Ian, I never saw any of those articles. I know Blood Horse announced his Gold Cup target last week... they've also been whispering Californian but I personally don't think he'll be ready. Not that I know! Hehe.
