He raced over 2 miles, and was unplaced.
When I looked at his parents, I saw that they raced best on 3 miles +.
Should I wait until the races are longer?
He have the right equipment (sr+f8).

well considering he was a potential and not a natural - i would keep him in claimer/maiden levels. 3 mile races don't usually happen till late in the season. you can wait or race him, I think he's a decent horse to learn on

I can now tell that he has been much better in claiming races, he even have jumped up to 'confidence'
