MUCH thanks to those who have helped me out so far. I think I've sold about four babies since I posted in the auction/sales forum! That made me be able to breed one of my last three mares, and here's the PRETTY baby. The name has meaning, but I don't have time to explain it now since I'm at work. I'll explain later once I'm able to breed my last two!
<a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=48255' target='_blank'>Alma Reed</a>: chestnut filly (Throne-Epic Passion [Epic Hoax])
Dam won four races ranging from four furlongs to 1 3/8 miles, and was also third in a Grade 2. PRETTY!

Elite Eight (ITY) gr c 16.3hh Streamer x Final Five (Five Circles)
I felt bad for Mallory's airport experience so instead of racing FF next year I retired her and bred her to Streamer. Elite Eight is what they call the final 8 teams in a play off I THINK. LOL I'm no good at sprots stuff. But i figured it kinda fit with Streamer and Final Five.

I lied. This will be the very last of three breedings for me this year, honest. I retired Parselmouth by Broken Vow and Medusa's Lament by Trophy, bred her to Storm a Fortress by Brillancefindsaway and Fusaichi Storm by Fusaichi Pegasus. End result, a black filly named Hermione's Wand.
This is fun. I wish I had a few more mares.

We'll have to work on it. I'm really into fairness when it comes to swapping, and she's pretty darn special. She also hasn't visited Desert Victory yet, which is going to happen this season. But we can work on it Year 21, see what we can do!Alex wrote: Oooh Nikki, I'm jealous . Do I still get an Epic Passion baby?

Yes. That's why I said this was fun. I like being able to name a horse with some meaning behind it. I did the whole Harry Potter look up to see what worked for this filly. Even the Storm a Fortress connection worked.NikkiSherman wrote: That's awesome, Keith! Aren't you glad I told you about the reasoning behind Parselmouth's name?
Thanks

Never announced a foal before however thanks to Laura's generous offering of one of her mares I thought I’d introduce <a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=47067' target='_blank'>Enkeli</a>
bay colt 16.3 (Deathdefying - If Angels Sang, by Seattle Slew)
The name btw is Finnish for angel

I was really brain dead on names for this one. Decided to retire this mare, she has no hope, but her pedigree says MILE MILE MILE!

Finally finished for the year. A final crop of 391 foals. All kinds of highlights (and lowlights I am sure) in the crop. Here is one that I am very excited about:
<a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=46147' target='_blank'>Trotsky</a>- Dubawi x Chenchikova. He is a full to multiple G1 winner <a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=22548' target='_blank'>Krasinskaya</a> and just has a very cool name.
Now I can finally sleep!

Introducing <a href='http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=48445' target='_blank'>Achaemenid</a>, by War Chant out of Arabian Nights (Tropicaldepression).
The name refers to an ancient Persian empire that stretched from as far east as modern Western China to Egypt and southeastern Europe. I'm happy to finally get my War Chant filly.
