Any appy sprint studs without Black Irish or It's A Gamble?

Post by Alleyne Torres »

Or are there any retiring this year? I looked through the list and there were about two and they didn't look too appetizing.

only $500. I sent 5 to him. Only one of them was a formidable mare,
3 were not so classy and last was no potential.

The formidable gave me a "wow".
The 3 not so classy gave me 1 wings 2 HTT and no potential gave me an awkward.

Related to It's a Gamble but you should be able to breed most to him is Zimm's Free Beer, he's very nice. I got some really high quality looking yearlings by him. Who are the mares you trying to breed?

She is a "star" so I thought I'd put a little more effort in for her.

I agree, I was thinking if I had to have some inbreeding, a Beergoggles x Its a Gamble sire would be it.

Sometimes Not, if he's retiring this year, may be your best bet for your goal. He's completely free of Black Irish, and It's a Gamble would be pushed back to the third generation.

The stallion I'd be looking at though, is A Good Irish. Black Irish would be pushed back to the third generation, and It's a Gamble would be pushed back to the fourth. Although, now that I've looked at the cross, she's related to A Good Irish, so that would bring in a different cross, which you either may like or may not. Some people like that sort of thing - crossing to the dam, rather than the sire, but others try to avoid it.

Good luck, whatever you decide!

Guns and Beer is also free of Black Irish and the It's a Gamble gets pushed back into the 3rd generation

I like Zimm's Free Beer with her. Also liking Guns and Beer with her. Laura's suggestion also is very good. They all push back It's a Gamble to the 3rd Generation. Guns and Beer is producing many good horses. Anyways I don't think you can go wrong with either three of those choices.

I love Zimm's Free Beer.

Also you might want to try the Game Point stud Captain Bucko. I have been trying to use them to get fillies because of just this problem. I have this 2yr old filly Cherokee Charm who galloped wow. So at least we know Captain Bucko is capable of throwing wows.

I have Tumbarse Al Sol (Tomar El Sol x With Intent). Totally outcross, but also not great. He doesn't hypo well, nor has he produced anything of merit. Thought I'd throw him out there though.

Otherwise, I approve of Captain Bucko for a complete outcross if you can spend the GPs.

Your answer. BUY ME A ROUND

I hypo'd this pairing the results? A level cross.

Seeing that buy me a round is both a 400 and a sprinter stud, you should get him early as I am about o increase his stud fee.

Good luck!
