The SDP Canadian Triple Crown races are already up in the stakes schedule for next year and the purses dates and distances are all set in place. I hope there are full fileds in this years races and that the horses who take part go on to do well after the SDP racing series. As a bonus the winner of the triple crown this year will get 10 free breedings to any one of my stallions. Adding $400,000 in bonuses.

Racing Goddess *would* be taking on the boys in Week 2, if she'd been bred in Canada. Guess I'll be waiting for my 4 stakes Treasure Strikes to hit the track this year instead...

I just wanted to point out that the CAN bred only races ARE NOT GRADED STAKES as state or country restricted races cannot be graded races as was pointed out by the Steward in the TX bred QH races.

LOL just like real life its a CANADIAN GRADE 1 just like the Queen's Plate..... Also its the largest purses in All weather either you like it or you don't..... Don't matter to me

I think what Kay meant to say is that it's misleading calling them a G1 when they are a listed stakes. This is the SIM; a G1 is a G1 and a listed stakes is a listed stakes. There's no distinction between levels or circuits; it doesn't matter.

So yes, while the purse money is noteworthy, you will not get G1 points for running in this race (or any of the SDP "Jewels").
