Attention harness fans! This year, we're bring back the new player series contest! Here's how it works:
New and Junior (this should keep you newbies in the mix a bit longer) players with harness (trotter or pacer) entries can nominate one of their entries each week. Pick the horse you think is most likely to win its race.
- Send me a message in game with the name of the horse by post time. Anything received after 7:59 pm pacific that Wednesday won't count.
- I'll check results. 4 points for a win, 2 for a place, 1 for a show. Level of race makes no difference - a claimer win is worth as much as a stakes, since this is about placing your horses in the best spot.
-sponsored races don't count unless they have 7 or more starters. I don't want to rule out all sponsored races (since senior players also sponsor some nice opportunities that you can steal from their horses) but I don't want something set up that's so restrictive it's a shoe-in for a given horse or horses. If there are 7 starters at least, that says it's turned into a pretty open race.
- Winners each week will go in a draw for a free yearling, 2yo, or foal (and I have some really, really nice ones thanks to great donations!)
- End of the year high point player will be new/junior harness trainer winner, and runners up, players who got 'bumped' for leaving junior status, etc will all get great prizes, like top quality yearlings, foals, and broodmare leases, custom create a horses/mares, and game points shared over top prizes!
Don't have harness horses? Don't worry - just shoot me a message. I have plenty of racers I will send out, from 2yo through classy old geldings. They aren't superstars, but they don't need to be to win big in this contest. they just need you to place them right!

If you are a junior player at the start of the year, I'd say go ahead and play; I can't keep track of who gets bumped out, and the more the merrier, although I might keep a couple prizes separate for the newest newbies...Sten Rino Haakonsen wrote:Guessing.
