Meshach
Meet Meshach. She is special. She may have not won the North American Two Year Old Filly Simmy, but she did everything I asked of her as a juvenile, including a dominant win in the Steward's Cup Debutante.
She galloped allowance as a yearling, and must have really liked chile, debuting with an open length win as a maiden, earning a 96 speed figure. She then won stakes race after stakes race before her amazing performance in Canada at the end of Year 41.
I've been trying to breed a miler like this FOREVER. It finally happened. I don't care if she's a slide horse, I'm proud of her.
And, if given the choice, I'd much rather have an SC trophy than a SIMMY anyway. So THERE!

I'm just going to tell myself that she's named after Meshach Taylor on Designing Women

Re: Meshach
She is probably one of my favorite headshots I've done recently. I can't even pinpoint why. I just love her. *steals her for my own stable*

Re: Meshach
After a nice win week 2, Meshach runs tonight in Elmont, NY, marking the beginning of the annual meet at Long Island Park. The Long Island Oaks boasts Meshach drawing the outside post against Peihe Sun's Shines Again, Anthony Name's Flash of the Sun, and the likely second choice tonight, Ruler of the Kiss for Chris Simpson. I encourage fans and foes alike to bet the race http://www.simhorseracing.com/race.php?RaceID=639889
I, for what it's worth, am optimistic.

Re: Meshach
Her headshot is beautiful! I haven't had a chance to look at the entries until now, posttime, but I'm surprised at how few showed up against Meshach. Guess you can't argue with her speed figures!

I think she's a 16, if you know what I mean.

Re: Meshach
She's now won the Steward's Cup twice. She took the Year 41 Debutante and BARELY outran a game Othawa to take the Year 43 Filly & Mare dirt mile! She has earned 1.5 million or so and now I'm contemplating another year at the track. Or retirement. Not sure yet :)

She's a beauty, Scott. Congrats on a really nice SC win and my vote is to keep her running at 4 (not that you're asking for votes or anything.)
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Re: Meshach
She totally retired after the SC and her first foal Shedrach just broke her maiden with a 94. Check Shedrach out! She has a headshot that rivals momma's http://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=715838
