Hey everyone, I'm stationed in Maryland this week for the annual TurfAngels.com Preakness coverage. Story will be up shortly for yesterday's events on the main page (<a href='http://www.turfangels.com' target='_blank'>TurfAngels.com</a>), pictures can be seen at the gallery (<a href='http://www.turfangels.com/gallery/view_ ... imSpring06' target='_blank'>Spring 2006 Pimlico Gallery</a>). More pictures to come, I was a bit tired yesterday and only put up the ones with the first priority.

I adore Barbaro so I will in no way pick against him in order not to jinx him.

HOWEVER, I want to say here how much I love Bernardini. He was the first horse I stalked here at the new Gulfstream (as in I followed him all over the paddock before his debut as that was the best stalking I could do that day). I love him lots go Bernardini please finish 2nd to Barbaro the end.

I sure seem to like "B" horses...Birdstone, Bandini, Barbaro, Bernardini, B.P. Indy, Bigar, Bartie Schiller...hmm. ;)

I'm with Barbaro and Bernardini in this, I want B to win the TC and then come over to the Arc, I'd pay good money and go via the Netherlands to see him run in the Arc would soooo great. Race of the Year by miles if he turns up with Deep Impact, Heart's Cry, the Derby winner, Shawanda and Hurricane Run :)

Yeah, the Preakness is around 6:10 pm EST. I enjoyed writing the preview; I'm _very_ curious to see how the pace scenario shakes out after doing the writeup.

Of course, I'm rooting for Barbaro all the way. I love that horse.

Bernardini plays an interesting, fresh challenger, though, and I don't think we should count out Brother Derek this time around either; he's likely to get a much better trip in the Preakness, with a smaller field.

Greeley's Galaxy as a longshot! Only because it'd be horrible to have such a name go down in Triple Crown history...haha. Barbaro is much more ultra hot. :D

Of course I am rooting for Barbaro, as a TC winner would be nice, but I've got a Brother Derek x Like Now exacta ticket and a Brother Derek x Like Now x Barbaro tri box ticket. Gooo horseys!!!
