California Chrome IS BACK!!

Post by Jared Radley »

Chrome is back after cruising to victory in the San Pasqual Stakes at Santa Anita. He is now the all-time winningest Cal-bred after his victory. Congrats Chrome and team!! On to Dubai it is! :D :D

I'm really happy he's back to good form. I remember I cried when he lost the Belmont, but I didn't forget about him. He's such an amazing horse, always will be.

I loved watching the races today and the World Cup was one of my favorites - amazing that he seemed to win so easily with his saddle slipping so much.

That was a seriously impressive run. Being caught 3 and 4 wide the trip and still going on with it. Frosted is a classy animal and tried to do the same thing and look how far back he finished. That just shows exactly how tough Chrome is.

I have watched the race 4 or 5 times now. CC running another superb race. I so love the camera angle. Wish this sim had something similar.

I've always been startled by how comparatively bad US coverage quality is! I guess I'm spoiled because Australia, especially in metropolitan areas, has made a bit of an art form of race videography. I guess I expected the home of Hollywood to be outrageously good at race films and so it only being good and not great surprises me every time I watch American racing.

I have always thought the Grand National is THE race for TV coverage
