While this is true, you have to remember that it isn't the horses that are real, it is the emotions Plus... why do people care if they have claimers or freaks... after all they are just text on a webpage

To Tim's point, one of the biggest problems is the Battle Crys of the world - that is, the massive proportion of old SIM horses in the HOF. Like six people played back then, yet seemingly any horse who won a stake in those days is in the HOF. Tim mentioned a couple great examples. I did the same perusal of the HOF last night and couldn't believe some of the horses we, as a community, have voted in the HOF when Right Hand Man of all horses isn't even close to enshrinement.

In Sim Year 1, only 9 players had at least one win in that year.
In Sim Year 5, only 21 players had at least one win in that year.
In Sim Year 10, only 34 players had at least one win in that year.
In Sim Year 15, only 47 players had at least one win in that year.

The numbers were dramatically different in the new/reborn Sim.
In Sim Year 20, the 100th winning-est player had 19 wins in that year.
In Sim Year 25, the 100th winning-est player had 66 wins in that year.
In Sim Year 30, the 100th winning-est player had 82 wins in that year.
In Sim Year 35, the 100th winning-est player had 101 wins in that year.
In Sim Year 40, the 100th winning-est player had 116 wins in that year.
In Sim Year 43, the 100th winning-est player had 124 wins in that year.

Isn't the problem with the old timers pretty much true of any hall of fame? Call me crazy but I don't think Slingin' Sammy Baugh would fare too well in today's NFL.

Anyways, the importance of this is probably minimal (it took me like 5-10 minutes to actually find the hall of fame) but I'll go x3 on breaking it down by breed. I'm sure QH trainers disagree but I'm sorry, a bunch of sub-milliondollar-earning widebutts don't deserve a place next to the Atlas's (Atlas' ? Atli? whatever...) of the world.

You have to remember that mixers have very small purses, especially when they first came out, so a $800k paint is like a $3 mil earning TB!

Thoroughbreds make more money and are more popular. Thus, their 'hall' should be bigger. (AND I SEE YOUR HALL IS AS BIG AS MINE...)

I don't care much about this as long as the hall of fame profiles are as well-written as Lucrezia Borgia's. Someone should hire that guy.
